About Emma Sleep

Emma Sleep is one of the world’s fastest-growing sleep brands — sold in over 30 countries and trusted by millions of customers globally. We are opening our first authorised partner store in Guildford and are looking for part-time Sales Advisors to join the team from launch.

The Role

This is a sales-focused role. You will be on the shop floor engaging customers, demonstrating our product range and closing sales. Every customer interaction is a selling opportunity and we expect you to treat it that way.

Emma Sleep products sit at a premium price point and require a consultative approach. You will be advising customers, handling objections and building enough trust that they feel confident in their purchase decision. Your commission earnings will directly reflect how well you do this.

Availability

Weekend trading is our highest-revenue period. Availability across both weekdays and weekends is a requirement of this role.

Weekday shifts — specific pattern agreed at offer stage
Weekend availability — Saturday and Sunday essential

Key Responsibilities

Engage with every customer on the shop floor with energy and purpose
Deliver informed product consultations and match customers to the right product
Work to individual sales targets and take ownership of your conversion rate
Recommend complementary products to maximise each transaction
Maintain premium store standards at all times
Represent the Emma Sleep brand with professionalism and enthusiasm
Share customer feedback and insight with the Store Manager

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 year of retail or direct sales experience — required
A proven track record of working to sales targets
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
Self-motivated with a competitive attitude toward performance
Reliable, professional and committed to every shift
Weekend and weekday availability — non-negotiable

Preferred Background

Experience in bedding, furniture, interiors or premium home products — advantageous
Experience in a commission or target-driven sales environment
Background in consultative or considered-purchase selling
Experience in premium or aspirational consumer brands

£12.75 per hour base rate, reviewed against performance as the store grows
