Full job description

Job Overview:

We are an international haulage company looking for a commercially driven sales rep to join our small team within the B2B urgent UK same day and dedicated European transportation industry.

If you have the resilience and ambition to build a client base within a fiercely competitive industry and can also thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two customers’ requirements are the same, we would be keen to hear from you.

What to expect:

This is a field sales role that will consist of identifying new potential prospects and onboarding new clients for lasting relationships through cold calling, networking and industry events
This role is a combination of being on the road, but also attending sales meetings and working from the office when required, from our office location at Wallisdown Road, Poole – BH12 5AG
Manage a territory efficiently by planning daily routes, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing high-potential leads
You will grow your own client base with solid infrastructure behind the sale to meet the customers’ expectations and requirements
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-up tasks using IT tools and CRM systems
We offer a competitive and realistic OTE commission structure
Commission is uncapped
Fuel allowance paid on top of your salary
Company laptop and mobile phone will be provided

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in B2B sales or field sales roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Training will be provided, however experience within and general knowledge of the transportation industry is essential
Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple accounts and prioritize your schedule and tasks effectively
Must be able to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
Must have the confidence and ability to communicate and negotiate to all levels of a prospect organisation
Must have own transport with clean driving licence, and be comfortable traveling within assigned territory
Fluent in English
A drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
References will be required
