Job Overview

Ringwood - based foundation company is looking for an experienced Ground Screw Installer / Groundworker and become a vital part of our construction and groundwork projects! As subcontract ground screw installations around Ringwood, Bournemouth, Poole, Wareham, Dorchester and further afield.

This may suit a small owner - operator, experienced self-employed installer. We can provide suitable installation/ torque equipment, or you provide your own for enhanced rates.

Must have appropriate insurance and be able to invoice. small, medium and large installation projects available.

Duties

Install ground screws accurately according to project specifications and safety standards
Prepare the work site by clearing debris, setting up equipment, and marking installation points
Assist with excavation, leveling, and other groundwork tasks to ensure stable foundations
Operate hand tools and small machinery safely and efficiently during installation processes
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Conduct routine inspections of installed ground screws and report any issues or adjustments needed

Qualifications

Prior experience in ground screw installations, groundworks, construction, or related outdoor manual labor is preferred.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and standing for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures at all times
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous
Willingness to learn new skills related to ground screw installation and site preparation
