We’re looking for a bubbly, confident, hardworking and ambitious individual to join the Studio 89 team.
This is a varied role for someone who wants to make it in the hair & beauty industry, develop their skills and grow alongside an exciting, expanding salon. We’re looking for someone who is willing to work hard, takes pride in what they do and wants to build a successful career within the industry.
You’ll be the welcoming face of Studio 89, looking after clients, managing reception and admin, supporting the team and helping create the overall client experience. Alongside reception, you’ll also have the opportunity to carry out hair and beauty treatments, depending on your qualifications and experience.
We are looking for someone who has previously worked and has experience within the hair, beauty, social media, receptionist. Extra training will be provided.
We’re looking for someone with a great eye for aesthetics and presentation, who naturally notices the little details and understands the importance of creating a beautiful, welcoming, uplifting professional environment.
You should be confident with social media, Instagram and content creation, with an interest in helping promote the salon, our team and the services we offer.
Most importantly, we want someone who is reliable, proactive, friendly and hungry to succeed. Someone who sees opportunities, is willing to learn, isn’t afraid of hard work and wants to progress within the industry.

- Hair and/or beauty qualification and experience
- Able to carry out treatments when required & promote your own diary
- Good knowledge of salon environment and a positive client experience
- Someone proactive who can work independently
- Team player who enjoys working in a busy salon
Day to day responsibilities include
- Welcoming clients and being the first point of contact
- Managing reception and salon enquiries
- Booking and rearranging appointments
- Taking payments and handling basic admin
- Communicating with salon professionals
- Keeping reception and communal areas looking beautiful and organised
- Supporting social media/content creation
- Helping with general maintenance/diy of the salon
- Helping promote treatments, offers and salon events
- Carrying out hair/beauty treatments when booked
- Supporting the smooth day to day running of Studio 89
- Assisting management and staff where needed
