Receptionist
Alternative Therapies Clinic
6 month FTC Part Time (1 day p/w)
£12.50/hr
Brighton

We are searching for an organised, calm, compassionate and personable Receptionist for a well-loved alternative therapies clinic in the heart of holistic Brighton.

This person will be part of a team of receptionists covering only the Fridays and will report directly into the Clinic Manager and Clinic Owner.

This position is a temporary role intended to last for the duration of our current employee's maternity leave + Training months. The dates for this Maternity Cover role are from July 2026 until December 2026 (with potential for extension).

The new Receptionist has to be a compassionate people person with strong IT skills and excellent telephone manner. Working in reception is a very multi-faced position as you need to be good with people AND also good with computers. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Cover Reception duties on a Fridays and ad-hoc basis if necessary, meeting and greeting their clients
Maintain a clean, tidy, and smoothly functioning clinic environment, including therapy room set up.
Maintaining a friendly, helpful and courteous approach to clients and therapists at all times.
Performing other duties as requested by management.

Experience:

Experience in, and a love of, customer service/ previous front of house experience essential.
The capacity to prioritise tasks, and thrive in a slightly chaotic, super friendly environment.
Great communication and relationship-building skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence.
Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel , Google products and general computer usage.
High level of organisation and time management.
Love of alternative therapies and creative environments.

Pay: £12.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
