Graduate Landscape Architect - Worthing UK
We’re seeking a motivated Graduate Landscape Architect to join our expanding landscape, ecology and arboriculture practice in the delivery of high‑quality public and private realm projects. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and work toward CMLI chartership.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with conceptual and detailed landscape design, drawings and visualisations (hand sketching, CAD, SketchUp/Rhino).
- Prepare plans, planting plans, sections, details, schedules and specifications.
- Carry out site surveys, site analysis and topographic checks; attend site visits.
- Produce presentation materials and client reports; support public consultation.
- Assist with planning submissions, tender documents and construction administration.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, ecologists and contractors.
- Research planting palettes, materials, SuDS and biodiversity net gain.
- Maintain project files (CAD/GIS/BIM) and contribute to practice CPD.
Person specification
- UK Degree in Landscape Architecture (BSc/MSc) or equivalent.
- Eligible for or working toward CMLI membership.
- Competent in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office; SketchUp/Rhino and GIS/Revit desirable.
- Strong visual communication and hand‑drawing skills.
- Knowledge of UK planning, SuDS and relevant standards.
- Good communication, teamwork and time management.
- Portfolio showcasing university/work projects required.
- The right to work in the UK
