Overview:
Pink Tile Education is supporting a welcoming secondary school in Lancing in their search for a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join their team in September. This is a full-time permanent position teaching Physical Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Role Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4 in line with the national curriculum.
Create engaging and differentiated lesson plans that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development.
Promote participation, teamwork, fitness, and healthy lifestyles through Physical Education.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and behaviour for learning.
Organise and supervise practical sports activities safely and effectively.
Work collaboratively with the PE department to plan schemes of work and share best practice.
Adapt teaching approaches to support students with varying abilities, including those with additional learning needs.
Participate in departmental meetings, staff meetings, school sports events, and professional development activities.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers regarding student progress and wellbeing.
Uphold school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4.
Strong subject knowledge across the PE curriculum.
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
A commitment to supporting student achievement, wellbeing, and participation in sport.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Must hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
