Pumpkin Patch is a family-owned company that operates eight nurseries in the South Coast. Our purpose is to ensure children have the best start in life through outstanding education and care. This role requires a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education or equivalent, experience working within a Nursery or School setting, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, people first approach and a genuine passion for giving children the best possible start in life.

The Role of a Senior Educator

To contribute to the creation of a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.

To be aware of Pumpkin Patch’s policies and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.

Use their knowledge of the areas of learning and understanding of how children learn to provide rich, varied and imaginative experiences that enthuse, engage and motivate children.

To be vigilant and protect children from harm or abuse, reporting any concerns immediately – in accordance with child protection and whistleblowing policies

To be responsible for the welfare of all children in your room, organising systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Establish strong relationships with families to foster a positive connection between the nursery and home.

Adhere to the organisation's policies and procedures.

Job Details

Job Types: Full-Time, Permanent

Job Hours: 40 Hours Per Week (between 7.30am - 6.30pm Monday to Friday)

Salary: £29,120.00 - £31,928.00 (FTE) depending on qualifications and experience.

UK Level 3 Early Years Education Qualification (required)

Location: 21 St Botolph's Road, Worthing BN11 4JS
