Commercial Site Manager

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire
Rate: £290 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 17:00
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Long-term opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Site Manager to join a long-term project based at a food manufacturing facility in Boston, Lincolnshire.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established contractor carrying out renovation works within a live food factory environment. There is the potential for a permanent position with the company for the right candidate.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The project includes a range of specialist refurbishment works, including:

White walling
Resin flooring
Stainless steel installations
General renovation works

Key Responsibilities

Managing the daily operations on site
Supervising the Assistant Site Manager, labourers, forklift driver, apprentices, subcontractors and utilities operatives
Coordinating site activities to ensure programmes are met
Maintaining high standards of health and safety
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and the project team
Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project

Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Manager on commercial or industrial projects
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors
Excellent communication skills
Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid at Work certificates (preferred/required depending on project requirements)

Monday to Friday working hours (07:30 - 17:00)
