Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Skilled Labourer to join our dynamic team, specialising in construction, and general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a range of practical skills, including mechanical knowledge and experience with various tools and machinery. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors on diverse projects (new and existing builds), contributing to the upkeep and development of outdoor spaces and construction sites. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their skills within a professional environment.
Duties
- Moving, collecting and setting up materials.
- Assisting with all types of roles on and around the sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Supporting carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other tradespeople with their tasks, which may include tasks like installing fixtures, laying foundations, or helping with plumbing repairs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good team player with effective communication skills.
- A valid driving licence and own transport is a must.
