Job description

Are you looking to gain valuable experience in a secondary school setting? We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join an Outstanding mainstream secondary school in Hillingdon, where you will play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences.

The Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring pupils remain engaged, focused, and motivated throughout the school day. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive learning environment during teacher absences.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise pre-planned lessons across a variety of secondary subjects.
Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment.
Encourage pupil engagement and participation in lessons.
Follow school policies and procedures at all times.
Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to uphold the school's high standards.
