Ysgol Yr Hafod, Johnstown are looking to recruit 2 x L2 Teaching Assistants to work in our Year 1 and 2 Team or in our Resourced Provision class.
We are looking for someone who:-
Is passionate about working with children and supporting their development
Promotes high levels of wellbeing and positive behaviour with all children.
Has a good understanding of the importance of play to support learning
Can work under the guidance of the class teacher and show initiative
Will help to deliver programmes to support literacy and numeracy
Will support the development and maintaining of areas of continuous provision
Has good communication skills with both children and adults
Will work alongside children with ALN and support their IDP and small steps targets
Will work well as part of a large team.
