The Role

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator / Payroll Officer to join our friendly and supportive team based at Arnold Haase House in Crewe.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of payrolls, ensuring payroll processes are completed accurately and efficiently. You will also produce reports, metrics, and other payroll-related information for clients as required.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen interest in payroll, whether you already have payroll experience or are looking to develop a long-term career in the field. We are committed to investing in the right candidate and providing training and support to help you succeed.

You will become part of a thriving, collaborative team that works closely together, supporting one another to deliver an exceptional service to our clients.

This is a permanent, full-time position based onsite in Crewe.

Key Responsibilities

Processing assigned payrolls accurately and within agreed deadlines
Producing payroll reports and management information as required
Responding to client payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
Maintaining accurate payroll records and documentation
Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service

Skills & Experience

We are looking for someone who has:

Previous administrative experience, ideally with an interest in payroll or a willingness to learn
Experience producing reports and metrics on an ad hoc basis
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A positive attitude, good sense of humour and willingness to be part of a supportive team
