Job Summary

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Bar/Waiting Staff member, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests. In this dynamic role, you will serve food and beverages with a friendly attitude, ensure guest satisfaction, and support the smooth operation of the bar and dining areas. Your passion for hospitality will shine through as you engage with guests, recommend menu items, and uphold high standards of service and safety. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a lively environment while making every guest feel welcome and valued.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating arrangements or reservations
Take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring timely delivery to guests
Serve drinks and meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas throughout your shift
Follow food safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met
Manage guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Handle cash transactions accurately using basic math skills and operate POS (Point of Sale) systems

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or similar roles is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
Knowledge of serving techniques, food safety standards, and basic food preparation is highly desirable
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during busy periods
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately
Kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food handling and preparation tasks
Commitment to upholding safety standards and maintaining cleanliness at all times
