Full job description

This job does not meet the requirements for work visa sponsorship and as such we will be unable to progress your application if you do not have the right to work in the UK.

Porters play a vital role in providing an excellent service to all teams. Primarily work alongside catering and domestic staff

They can be the first point of contact and need to be compassionate, caring, respectful and be able to assist with confidence and good communication skills.

Bank only positions are also available.

Porters play a vital role in providing an excellent service to all teams.

They can be the first point of contact and need to be compassionate, caring, respectful and be able to assist with confidence.

Delivery of post.

Receiving NHS stores and other deliveries onto site and store away.

Collection of patient prescriptions.

Moving of deceased patients to mortuary.

Cleaning/tidying of areas e.g. car parks, etc.

Taking delivery of bio-fuel.

Setting up of meeting rooms.

Delivering patients meals from main kitchen to wards e.g breakfasts, etc.

Hanging of disposable curtains

Cleaning of windows internal & external

Working to SCHT policies and guidelines.
