About RedPxl
We're an ecommerce marketing agency running four service lines under one roof: website development, graphic design & creative, retention, and paid media. We move fast, and our clients are ambitious ecommerce brands who expect real results. We're not an agency that hides behind retainers - what we ship has to make our clients money.
The role
We need someone to be the operational engine of the agency. You'll sit between the founder, four department heads, and our clients - making sure work gets in, gets done properly, and goes out the door on time.
Day to day, you'll be:
Managing our four department heads (web dev, creative, retention, paid) - understanding their capacity, unblocking them, and holding them accountable to deadlines.
Owning the intake of new work - when a client requests something, you decide which department it belongs to, scope it, and make sure it gets delivered in full (not 80% done and forgotten).
Being the senior point of contact for our trickier clients. Some of our clients are demanding. You'll absorb the heat, manage expectations, and protect the team's focus without ever dropping the ball on delivery.
Running the day-to-day in ClickUp and keeping it actually accurate, not just for show. We're also building our own in-house work management software - you'll have direct input into what it does, how it works, and how the agency operates inside it.
Spotting bottlenecks before they become fires - capacity issues, scope creep, clients going quiet, work sitting in queues.
Reporting to the founder weekly on agency throughput, client health, and where we're at risk.
Who you are
You've done this before, in an agency. You know what it looks like when a paid media campaign is behind, when a Klaviyo flow needs sign-off, when a dev sprint is slipping. You don't need to be able to write the code or design the creative - but you need to know enough about all four disciplines to call BS when a timeline doesn't add up.
Specifically:
3+ years managing projects/operations inside a digital, ecommerce, or marketing agency.
A confident communicator - comfortable pushing back on a client who's being unreasonable, and on a department head who's missed a deadline.
Hard-working and visibly organised. You run tight ships. Nothing falls through the cracks because you don't let it.
A natural manager - people enjoy working with you, but they also know not to send you half-baked work.
Sharp eye for detail. You spot the typo, the wrong logo, the missing UTM, the off-brand colour.
Good understanding of at least 2 of: Shopify/web dev workflows, design & creative production, email/SMS retention (Klaviyo etc.), or paid media (Meta/Google).
Strong ClickUp (or similar - Asana, Monday, Jira) experience. Opinions on what a great PM workflow looks like are very welcome.
You actually enjoy the messy bits of agency life - the chaos, the variety, the human stuff.
Happy with a full-time, in-office role at our Canary Wharf base - this isn't a remote or hybrid position. We believe the best agency work happens with the team in the room.
Bonus points
Direct Shopify or ecommerce brand-side experience.
Familiarity with Klaviyo, Figma, Meta Ads Manager, GA4.
You've managed a team of 10+ before.
You've helped shape or roll out an internal tool / system before.
What you'll get
Competitive salary based on experience + performance bonus tied to client retention and on-time delivery.
25 days holiday + bank holidays.
Modern office in Canary Wharf, well-connected via Jubilee Line, Elizabeth Line, and DLR.
A rare chance to shape the agency's own internal work management software from the ground up - your day job becomes a product you helped design.
Real ownership. You'll shape how this agency runs. The founder wants a partner in this, not a task-taker.
A team that's good at what they do and wants someone who'll make their lives easier, not harder.
