Job Title: Credit Controller

Location: Chelmsford Hybrid

Responsibilities to include:

Maximise cash collections, working to a weekly cash target
Chase outstanding debts by telephone, email and letter
Investigate and resolve invoice queries
Liaise with key stakeholders
Provide reporting and real-time information as required
Focus on reducing age debt over 90 days +
Identify unallocated cash receipts from the bank statement and resolve
Keep ledgers tidy with a view to reducing the number of accounts, making sure all housekeeping of write-offs / matching / unallocated cash actioned regularly
Promote the department by maintaining the relationship with our customers, both internal and external in a positive and professional manner at all times
