Housekeeper / Cleaner

The Farm at Avebury (Galteemore Farm)
Avebury, Wiltshire

Part-time or Full-time | Permanent or Self-Employed

The Farm at Avebury, also known as Galteemore Farm, has been in our family since 1922 and is now run by the fourth generation of the Hues family. Set within the Avebury World Heritage Site, our farm sits in one of the most remarkable landscapes in Britain, right beside Silbury Hill and surrounded by thousands of years of history.

We see ourselves not as owners, but as custodians of this land, caring for it responsibly and sustainably so it can be enjoyed for generations to come. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our small, friendly team.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across our farm buildings and accommodation, ensuring everything is presented to an exceptional standard. This role suits someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working independently, and values quality.

What We’re Looking For

A positive, can-do attitude
Willingness to learn and adapt
A full driving licence (essential due to rural location)
Ability to work every other Sunday
Reliable, organised, and detail-oriented
