Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Window and Door Fitter specialising in Aluminium, wood, and PVC materials to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of window and door systems across residential and commercial properties. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction or related trades to utilise their expertise in a professional environment. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Measure and assess installation sites to ensure precise fitting of windows and doors.
Install aluminium, wooden, and PVC window and door units according to schematics and technical specifications.
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to carry out installations efficiently and accurately.
Ensure all fittings are secure, weatherproofed, and compliant with safety standards.
Remove old fixtures safely and prepare surfaces for new installations.
Conduct quality checks post-installation to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other trades such as roofing, plumbing, electrical work, or masonry when necessary.
Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in construction or installation roles specialising in windows, doors, or similar fixtures.
Knowledge of carpentry, masonry, or construction painting is advantageous.
Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings relevant to installation projects.
Experience working with hand tools and power tools required for precise fitting
Ability to interpret technical instructions and adapt to different types of materials including aluminium, wood, and PVC.
Prior experience in working on residential or commercial sites is essential
