Full job description

Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Hurn

Hours: Full-time 37 hours | 12 month FTC

About the Role

Draken is looking for a detail-oriented and organised Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with purchase ledger experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accurate financial records.

Reporting to the Treasurer and Ledger Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices, payments and expenses are processed accurately and on time while providing excellent support to both internal colleagues and external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Process supplier invoices using Aerotrac, matching invoices to purchase orders.
Obtain approval for non-purchase order invoices.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies, including requesting refunds and copy invoices where required.
Process Purchasing Card and Company Credit Card transactions and reconcile statements.
Process employee expenses through XpenseEez.
Verify supplier bank details for weekly payment runs.
Support the processing of weekly supplier payments via Barclays.
Respond to supplier and internal finance queries in a professional and timely manner.
Assist colleagues within the Purchase Ledger team and provide holiday cover when required.
Support month-end activities and ensure deadlines are met.
Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures and Health & Safety standards.
