Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical impairments or disabilities. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with physical difficulties resulting from illness, injury, or aging. Daily tasks include developing tailored treatment plans, performing manual therapy techniques, and educating patients on interventions and preventative measures. The Physiotherapist will also maintain patient records, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and participate in continued professional development. The job holder will also need to visit Care homes and residential units to carry out the role as occasion demands.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to determine their physical condition and needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at improving patients' mobility and overall physical health.
- Utilise various therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate recovery and rehabilitation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physiotherapy practices and techniques.
Requirements
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with physical difficulties
- Experience in developing and implementing tailored treatment plans
- Proficiency in performing manual therapy techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate patients on interventions and preventive measures
- Excellent record-keeping and administrative skills

- Commitment to continued professional development
- Degree in Physiotherapy and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience in healthcare or clinical settings is a plus
2+ years of experience in physiotherapy
Must be located within a commutable distance to Bedford, such as Milton Keynes, Luton, Northampton, Cambridge, etc.
