POSITION SUMMARY

£26,436.80 per annum - 40 hours per week, working 5 / 7 shifts per week.

Unleash your charm and hospitality superpowers! Join our fantastic front office team as a Hotel Receptionist and create memorable guest experiences!

Receptionists at Delta Hotels by Marriott Peterborough provide a vital role in being the first and last point of contact. The ideal candidate should be confident in giving a great first and last impression of the hotel.

We are looking for:

A team-player with excellent communication skills
A professional appearance with a warm and welcoming demeanour
A positive attitude with the desire to learn
A proactive, problem-solving approach to working in a fast-paced environment

Your day to day duties include:

Checking guests in and out of the hotel and managing guest accounts, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payment details are properly handled.
Assisting guests with inquiries, requests, and providing information about the hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
Addressing and resolving guest complaints or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring guest satisfaction.
Handling phone calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to the appropriate departments or guests.
Managing the hotel's front desk area, ensuring it is clean, organised and well maintained.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service, adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
Preparing reports and updating occupancy statistics.
