CNC Setter / Operator – Various machines including mills and lathes
We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our growing engineering team manufacturing high-precision components.
The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating CNC milling and turning machines and be capable of working to tight tolerances with a strong focus on quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC mills and lathes
- Producing precision-engineered components to drawing specifications
- Loading tools, setting offsets, and carrying out basic program edits where required
- Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
- Working efficiently to meet production schedules
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator
- Experience with CNC milling and turning machines
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges
- Good attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
- Reliable and able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Siemens, Mazatrol, Fanuc controls advantageous
- Previous experience producing precision components
- Basic programming knowledge beneficial
