What you'll be doing

Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting
Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children
Promote good hygiene practices
Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals and your team
Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers
Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
Leading the room in the absence of the room leader
Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development
Monitor and record all accidents
Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies

What we're looking for

Essential

Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Good knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable

Previous nursery nurse experience
Interest in outdoor learning and child-led learning approaches
Confidence building relationships with families and professionals

Working Hours

Part time and full time positions available Monday to Friday.
