Due to continued growth, Swim Buddies is now recruiting new Swimming Instructors to join our team from September 2026.
Successful applicants will complete a structured handover, induction and onboarding programme between 1st July and 20th July 2026, working alongside our Senior Management Team and experienced teachers to ensure they are fully prepared for the start of the new swimming season in September.
The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and passionate individuals who want to help children develop confidence, water safety skills and a lifelong love of swimming.
This position is offered as a Junior Member role within Swim Buddies LLP and provides opportunities for ongoing training, development and progression within the business.
Working Pattern
This is a term-time only position.
Teachers are required to commit to:
- One weekday shift (Monday to Friday, 4:30pm – 6:30pm)
- One weekend shift (Saturday 1:00pm – 3:00pm or Sunday 9:00am – 1:00pm)
Whilst we offer flexibility around weekday availability, weekend working is an essential requirement of this role.
Additional shifts may become available for those wishing to increase their hours.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children aged 4+
- Supporting swimmers through the Learn to Swim programme
- Promoting water safety and confidence in the water
- Creating fun, engaging and safe learning environments
- Working closely with our teaching and supervisory team to support swimmer progression
