Apprentice Site Engineer

Locations: Bicester, UK (Southern Region)

Opportunity:

We are currently seeking an Apprentice Site Engineer to join our Southern region. You will gain hands on experience supporting construction projects, learn practical engineering skills and collaborate with engineers, contractors, and the Commercial teams to help ensure projects run smoothly.

Key responsibilities include:

o Observe and assist with day-to-day site operations

o Help monitor progress against plans and report updates to the engineering team

o Learn how to use basic surveying tools (including CAD) to check levels and positions

o Learn how to set up and monitor GPS machine control

o Assist engineers with marking out areas for foundations, drainage, road and other groundworks

o Record site measurements and observations for the engineering team

o Learn and follow site safety procedures

The Successful Applicant will have:

✓ English GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent

✓ Mathematics GCSE Grade 4/C, Level 2 Functional Skills, or equivalent

✓ A full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive between sites

Please note as part of the training requirement you must be able to commute to:

✓ Solihull College, Blossomfield Campus, Solihull, B91 1SB – 1 day per month

Package:

o Contract Type: Apprentice

o Weekly Hours: 07:30am to 16:30pm (we are open to discussing reasonable adjustments)
