Accounts Assistant / Office Administrator

The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive individual to join our office team. This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll be a key part of ensuring the smooth running of our Estate Office, supporting customers and colleagues across a wide range of accounts and administrative tasks.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a busy, customer‑focused environment and is keen to develop their skills in accounts, administration and office coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts support including:
- Chasing outstanding payments
- Matching advice notes
- Inputting supplier invoices
- Using Xero (full training provided)
- Sourcing prices for items such as fuel and farm parts
- Updating herd registry records
- Placing purchase orders for dairy parts, chemicals and gas
- Annual leave administration
- Vehicle administration — MOTs, services and inspections
- General office duties including stationery ordering and filing
- Coordinating on‑site parking arrangements
- Managing email enquiries and handling daily post
- Reception - first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls
- Self‑storage administration — rental agreements, renewals and customer queries
