Jongor Hire have been supplying the event and hospitality industry with catering equipment for over 50 years, so it’s fair to say we know what we’re doing! Our catering equipment is thoroughly cleaned and tested before every hire and our tableware is perfectly hand polished, ready to lay up at an event. That’s where these roles come in!
As one of our temporary loaders you’ll:
- Store hire equipment and appliances safely and in the correct location in our warehouse
- Safely load clients orders onto our vehicles at the warehouse and at our clients sites
- Unload hire equipment from our vehicles at the warehouse and at our clients sites
- Keep the warehouse clean and tidy
- Be required to use manual handling aids to complete your workload which is of a physical nature
- Sometimes be working alone or as part of a team with colleagues, you may even be required to visit client sites from time to time to support with the collection or delivery of equipment
Working Hours
- Core shift hours are 11.30am to 8pm or 7.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
- Overtime will be required in June and July with some weekend working
- Hours over 40 per week are paid at x1.25, weekend and bank holiday working is paid at x1.5
Essential requirements
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment is desirable
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Be prepared to travel in our lorries to customer sites.
We are offering an immediate starts and you must be available to work until the early August.
