Full job description

Jongor Hire has been providing high-quality catering equipment and walk in Cold Rooms to businesses for over 50 years. We fulfil over 2,000 orders per year, from supplying hire equipment to events such as Cheltenham Gold Cup, Silverstone and The BRIT Awards, to supplying temporary kitchen units to the NHS and National Grid.

Key Responsibilities for Yard Operative

Pick clients orders correctly and load them onto our vehicles safely
Clean all cold room panels and equipment, identifying damage and missing parts
Store cold room equipment and appliances safely and in the correct warehouse location

The work is of a very physical nature and is based outside in our yard.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday with overtime available some Saturdays and Sundays
The hours will usually be between 7.30am - 6pm when working in the yard

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience of working in a physically demanding role such as labourer
Experience of heavy cleaning using chemicals and pressure washers would be beneficial
Experience of working in a fast paced role would be preferred
Strong verbal communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 4 months

Pay: £12.71 per hour
