Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Assistant Administrator to support our technical team in maintaining operational excellence. Duties
- Work with Farm and Growing Managers to gather information and set up annual crop planning and planting spreadsheets.
· Record incidence and maintain the log, Liaising with insurance providers to set up and manage new claims.
- Maintain field records, enter field data, and monitor operator data input to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Liaise with external agronomy and soil nutrition advisers.
- Enter stock and pricing information into farm software systems.
- Ensure monthly stock takes are completed by the Growing Manager, and reports are submitted to the Accounts Department.
- Coordinate with external contractors and growers to obtain planting and crop protection application information, ensuring agreements are current and signed.
- Maintain all Farm Records to be Audit ready and prepare documentation for internal and external audits conducted throughout the year. Red Tractor, Leaf and Customer Specific Standards.
- Participate in audits and support Company Directors and the Technical Manager during audit processes.
- Monitor the machinery calibration calendar to ensure all application equipment remains compliant.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong interest in quality assurance and analysis within a technical environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analysis skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with data management tools is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.

Pay: £24,420.00-£38,559.05 per year
