Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our innovative design team. In this pivotal role, you will translate conceptual architectural ideas into precise technical drawings and detailed documentation, ensuring seamless project execution from initial design through construction. Your expertise will help bring visionary designs to life, combining creativity with technical precision to meet client needs and industry standards. Responsibilities

Develop detailed architectural drawings, models, and construction documents using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Utilize 3D modeling tools like SketchUp and Rhinoceros 3D to visualize design concepts and assist in client presentations.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately translated into construction plans.
Prepare material specifications, schedules, and technical reports that support project development.
Review design proposals for compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.
Assist in project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking to ensure timely delivery.
Support construction teams by providing technical guidance during on-site inspections and resolving design-related issues.

Experience

Proven experience working as an Architectural Technologist or similar role within architectural or construction firms.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit is essential; experience with SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of building codes, construction processes, and technical detailing.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Hands-on construction experience is a plus, providing practical insight into building methods and materials.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating across multidisciplinary teams and presenting ideas clearly.
