Overview

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Facade Designer to join our dynamic architectural team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of creating visually striking, sustainable, and functional building exteriors that define the identity of our projects. Your expertise will help shape iconic structures by translating conceptual ideas into detailed, buildable facade designs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals and contribute to cutting-edge architectural developments.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive facade concepts that align with project goals, aesthetic vision, and technical requirements
Utilise design software to create detailed 3D models and schematics of facade systems
Prepare accurate construction drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and CAD tools
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of facade systems into overall building design
Conduct system design analysis to optimize material selection, energy efficiency, and structural performance
Assist in material selection and graphic presentation to effectively communicate design intent to clients and stakeholders
Stay updated on innovative facade technologies, materials, and industry standards to incorporate best practices into your designs

Qualifications

Proven experience in facade or system design within architecture or engineering projects
Strong understanding of construction processes and experience working on building envelope systems
Ability to produce detailed schematics and technical drawings for fabrication and installation
Knowledge of graphic design principles for visual presentations and client communication
Familiarity with CAD standards and best practices for architectural detailing
Experience with system integration, material specifications, and sustainability considerations is highly desirable
