Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Healthcare Assistant to join the team in Queensway Day Unit. We are looking for someone who is motivated and has a passion for caring to join our small but dedicated team.
The unit is a Day Treatment unit, providing a wide range of intravenous infusions, blood transfusions and treatments for adult patients in a calm, supportive and comfortable environment. We also the support the provision of various outpatient clinics.
We are currently open Monday to Friday and hours are worked between 0800 and 1930 \
As a Senior Health Care Assistant you will work as part of a small team under the direct supervision of registered nurses to ensure the effective and safe provision of care to our patients during their stay. Individuals should be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, be reliable and proactive and show a willingness to learn and take on new challenges as the service continues to develop.

Main duties, tasks & skills required
Experience of working in an acute care setting would be advantageous but all necessary skills training, professional updates and mandatory training as appropriate to the post will be provided.
