What you’ll do:
Join our production team as an operative in Dalton. In this active job, you will be reporting to the Production Supervisor and the purpose of the role is either:
To operate equipment to bag out finished products from pack bins into pack sizes as specified by the production plan/schedule. The main part of the role encompasses operating the bagging machine and the ‘robot’ palletiser to prepare finished product for collection by the warehouse and to conduct labelling checks and data entry. The role involves working closely with the other production operators and the supervisor.
and/or
To accurately weigh out small quantities of raw materials to be used in manufacture in the microweigh department. The role involves working closely with the other production operators (blending) and the production planning team therefore the role requires good communication skills to ensure that daily plans are achieved
What we are looking for:
Previous experience working in Mill production is preferred however not essential as any related manufacturing experience is beneficial. FLT licence is also preferred but not essential. Computer skills are also advantageous.
