Marketing & Promotions Assistant (Part-Time)

Impossible York is looking for a creative, energetic, and outgoing individual to join our team and help drive the marketing and promotion of one of York's most exciting hospitality venues.
This is a hands-on role perfect for someone with a passion for social media, events, nightlife, food & drink, and creating exciting campaigns that get people talking.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with venue marketing and promotional activity
- Creating and coordinating marketing campaigns
- Liaising with graphic designers, photographers, influencers, and external creatives
- Helping produce posters, flyers, and promotional materials
- Handing out flyers and discount cards around York city centre and at events
- Supporting social media content creation and ideas
- Promoting upcoming events, offers, brunches, nightlife, and seasonal experiences
- Working alongside management to increase bookings, footfall, and brand awareness
- Helping build partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and universities
- Assisting with customer engagement and growing our online presence
What We're Looking For
- Confident and outgoing personality
- Creative mindset with strong ideas
- Passion for hospitality, nightlife, events, and social media
- Reliable, organised, and self-motivated
- Comfortable speaking to customers and representing the brand
- Marketing or social media experience is a bonus but not essential
- Knowledge of York's social scene is desirable
