Full job description

JOB TITLE: Quality Auditor (Nights)

JOB PURPOSE/PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:

The QA team play a critical role in ensuring the required standards of Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene are met. You will be required to liaise with all production areas.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reporting to the Quality Manager

SHIFTS Permanent Night Shift (10pm – 6am)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:

Traceability and Paperwork Auditing.
Equipment calibration and verification.
Hygiene Auditing of appropriate personnel, equipment and factory environment.
Product, water and environmental sampling and testing to agreed specifications and to an agreed schedule.
Cleaning chemical concentration testing.
Liaising with production and/or hygiene departments to identify non-conformance and instigating corrective action.
GMP auditing

SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:

Excellent attention to detail
Numerical and Literacy skills essential
Competent IT skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) with ability to complete electronic records accurately.
English language skills essential
Knowledge of a food manufacturing environment is desirable.
Knowledge of paperwork and traceability systems is desirable.
Experience of GMP and temperature auditing/monitoring preferred.
