Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Paediatric Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust as a Perioperative Practitioner. Working within one of the Trust’s specialist surgical and perioperative services, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to children and young people recovering from anaesthesia. Based in Leeds, this role forms part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team supporting a wide range of paediatric surgical pathways, ensuring excellent patient outcomes in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled practitioner with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a genuine passion for paediatric care, committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and experience. All applicants are required to have current UK NMC registration, with evidence of registrant clinical practice in the UK, or be a final-year nursing student studying in the UK.

What you will bring to the role
