Junior Joiner / Kitchen Fitter
York & Surrounding Areas
Self-Employed (Potential Employed Role for the Right Person)

We are a York-based joinery business specialising in high-quality kitchen remodelling and finish joinery, and we are looking for a motivated joiner to join our team.

This role would suit someone who already has solid kitchen fitting and second fix experience, but who is still developing their career and wants to grow into a more senior role over time.

We are not necessarily looking for decades of experience — attitude, attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to learn are just as important to us.

What You’ll Be Doing

Kitchen remodelling and installation work
Second fix and finish joinery
Working in occupied homes with a high level of professionalism
Collaborating closely with our team to deliver quality workmanship
Maintaining clean, organised, customer-friendly workspaces

Essential Requirements

Experience with kitchen fitting/installations
Strong second fix joinery skills
Good eye for detail and pride in your work
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good communication and customer service skills
Team-focused approach
Own van and tools
Full UK driving licence

About the Role

Self-employed position initially
Potential employed role in future for the right candidate
Work mainly within a 25-mile radius of York
Majority of projects based in York
