The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller to join a busy manufacturing environment in the YO26 area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and setting CNC milling machines, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings and maintaining a high standard of accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
First 6 Months:
Monday to Thursday
7:00am – 5:30pm
£16-£18 per hour
Training and integration into the business
After 6 Months:
Following the initial 6-month period, you will move onto one of the following shift patterns:
Option 1 – 4 on / 4 off Days
Day shift
£17.92 per hour
£35 shift allowance
Option 2 – Monday to Thursday Nights
Night shift
£17.92 per hour
£50 shift allowance
Key Responsibilities
Operating and setting CNC milling machines
Working with Fanuc, Daytron and Mazak machinery
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Producing components to tight tolerances
Carrying out quality checks and measurements
Tool changes and machine adjustments
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Meeting production and quality targets
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience as a CNC Miller
Experience with CNC milling machinery
Ideally experienced with Fanuc, Daytron and/or Mazak controls
Able to read engineering drawings
Good understanding of machining tolerances
Strong attention to detail
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Miller looking for a long-term position with a structured shift pattern and additional shift allowances.
Pay: From £17.92 per hour
