Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Ground Worker to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be actively involved in various outdoor construction, hard landscaping, and maintenance projects. Your enthusiasm and hands-on approach will help ensure that our sites are safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction, and equipment operation while contributing to impactful projects that transform outdoor spaces.

Duties

laying patio slabbs
Operate hand tools and power tools safely for digging, trenching, and other groundwork activities
fencing
brick/block work
drainage
general ground works
Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to site regulations

Qualifications

Prior experience in construction, gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is highly desirable
Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on tools and equipment
Familiarity with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools like drills or saws
Experience operating machinery such as excavators or other small construction equipment is a plus
Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is advantageous
Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Physical stamina to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions

Pay: £120.00-£130.00 per day
