Regional Manager

Location: Head Office with travel across branches in the West

Lead Performance. Drive Growth. Develop People.

LBS is Wales' leading independent builders' merchant, and we're looking for an ambitious Regional Manager to lead the commercial and operational performance of a group of branches.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you'll have full accountability for regional sales, profit, branch performance and people development. Working closely with Branch Managers and support teams, you'll drive business growth, deliver operational excellence and create high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop Branch Managers to deliver outstanding commercial and operational performance.
Take full accountability for regional sales, margin, costs, profit and branch P&L.
Drive sales growth through strong customer relationships and market knowledge.
Ensure high standards of customer service, stock management, compliance and Health & Safety.
Implement company strategy and work collaboratively across Commercial, Procurement and Support Functions.

About You

You'll be an experienced leader with a strong commercial mindset, excellent people management skills and a proven track record of delivering results in a multi-site trading environment. You'll be passionate about developing others, driving continuous improvement and leading by example.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven senior management experience within builders' merchants, construction supplies or a similar multi-site business.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing P&L performance.
Experience leading and developing high-performing management teams.
Excellent communication, coaching and decision-making skills.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Hours of Work: An average of 38.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 7.30am – 4.30pm
