What we're looking for from your investment:
Through your existing development house or technology firm, preferably with strong AI modelling & accelerated development strategies, you'll ideally have entrepreneurial ambitions to invest your technology resources into promising tech startups. This style of active investment involves supporting startup founders through strategy, scale-up and market testing, by deploying your tech team for a period of time to accelerate the design, delivery and innovation within each product.
Experience investing into high-innovation startups is helpful, as you will build an equity stake as you help build and accelerate the tech. After the period (and value) of agreed investment, there is potential to continue providing technology services to each startup on a fee-for-service basis.
You will be instrumental in continuing to shape the product & business strategy at board level, from back-end dev-ops through to more advanced modelling as each technology requires. You will take ownership of the tech strategy from the investor's perspective, and drive day-to-day engineering execution alongside the CTO & team of each startup.
What you’ll bring:
- Demonstrated experience (including your team) in developing & delivering full tech-stack products (including ML/AI and multiple languages) for commercial applications in sectors ranging from Fintech to AgTech and more
- Knowledge of the latest practices and trends, and low-cost, highly scalable architecture
- Demonstrated ability to deliver product in a tech startup environment and with speed
- Confidence to manage a tech team to create, develop, iterate
- Experience of working within an agile environment
- Experience with API Integrations to pull data from multiple sources
- Knowledge of the challenges involved in developing complex products
- Experience building full stack application (for example HTML, CSS, React, Node js, Python and Rest APIs)
