Job Overview

We are seeking dedicated Remote Autism Assessors to join our team, providing vital assessments for individuals with autism from the comfort of their own homes. This role involves conducting comprehensive evaluations to support diagnosis and personalised intervention planning. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical diagnosis utilizing diagnostic tools with either ADOS and/or ADI-R and must have around 2 years of independent experience conducting ASD assessment with these tools. This is a self-employed position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives.

Duties

Conduct remote ASD assessments using established clinical protocols
Gather developmental, behavioural, and medical histories via virtual interviews
Administer and interpret standardised assessment tools
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on reports and recommendations
Maintain accurate, confidential documentation
Support families with next steps and resources
Stay up to date with research and best practices

Requirements (Essential)

Minimum 2 years’ independent assessment experience
ADOS and/or ADI‑R qualification and certification
Registered with a relevant professional body

Requirements (Desirable/General)

Strong knowledge of ASD and developmental assessments
Strong organisational and remote working skills
Compassionate, professional, and confidential approach
Proficient with digital tools and assessment software
Relevant qualifications (No training provided)
