The role

We’re on the hunt for someone to join our design team who can lead on process as well as contribute to creative learning design. Our design leverages science, research, learning principles and technology to drive behaviour change.

The Learning Experience Design Team is for people who:

Can turn literally anything into a compelling story
Are fuelled by curiosity to synthesise data (thought leadership, personal experience) to generate new ways to approach learning design
Enjoy working globally, across cultures and contexts
Believe delivering content efficiently while not sacrificing on quality
Care about iterative content development and continuous improvement

This role is all about creativity, innovation, and thinking differently so if that sounds like your natural habitat, dive in and apply.

We’re looking for a Lead Learning Experience Designer to play a key role in shaping, designing, and evolving our learning experiences across digital, virtual, immersive (VR), and live formats ensuring each experience is coherent, purposeful, and grounded in strong learning design principles.

Lead portfolio and client account work

Manage workflow processes and systems, making and implementing improvements
Resource team for efficiency while maintaining quality
Manage stakeholders both internally and externally to achieve timely results

Set the design standard (structure, storytelling, quality)

Use strong instructional design principles to structure and evaluate journeys, sessions, and content flows
Maintain processes to ensure high‑quality content and materials that others can deliver with confidence
Design and audit quality, engaging and instructive participant led materials
Adapt and evolve existing content for different audiences and markets while protecting the core intent

Co-create, collaborate and contribute across the business

Work closely with internal project teams to co‑create learning solutions
Contribute to portfolio by designing reusable, agile solutions aligned to emerging trends
Collaborate cross functionally within the business to innovate and deliver quality learning experiences e.g. for Cappfinity Talent Platform or VR

About you

You’re an experienced learning designer who cares deeply about how people learn — and how learning translates into action. You’ll likely bring:

5+ years’ experience in learning experience design, instructional design, or behaviour change (including degree or equivalent experience)
A track record of designing engaging, narrative‑led learning across digital and live formats
Evidence of working collaboratively with subject matter experts, consultants, and creative partners
Experience turning complex ideas into clear, usable, compelling learning experiences
An ability to create visually engaging graphics, storyboards and slides
A creative mindset, with curiosity about technology and its impact on human behaviour
Can balance creativity with attention to detail and finding efficiencies to scale and improve products and services
