Full job description

Job Title: Community Fundraiser

Location: Remote

Hours: 28

Salary:£28,292 (full-time equivalent). Actual salary £22,010 per annum, based on 28 hours per week.

Contract: Permanent

Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and be currently resident within the United Kingdom. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Key Purpose of the role of Community Fundraiser:

United Response is seeking a Community Fundraiser, to drive the growth of community fundraising income by delivering against fundraising targets, building strong relationships with United Response’s London Marathon fundraisers and volunteers, and supporting effective fundraising governance and compliance.

Essential Skills and Experience:

You will ideally have:

Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with a range of people.
Experience using a fundraising, CRM or other database system.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
An understanding of digital media and online communication channels.
Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
Confidence using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Desirable Skills and Experience

It would be an advantage if you have:

Experience in a fundraising, marketing, customer service or customer-facing role.
Experience working within the charity sector.
