About the Role

We are looking for a freelance Marketing Executive to work closely with our team on a long-term basis.

The role will initially start at approximately 8 hours per week, spread across Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity to increase over time as the relationship develops and workload grows.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, commercially minded, and comfortable working across multiple client accounts within a professional and corporate environment, predominantly within the investment and financial services sector.

This is a fully remote role.

Core Focus of the Role

The primary focus of this role will be supporting the agency's paid advertising and content production workflows across multiple client accounts.

The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for:

Writing copy for ad creatives
Writing landing page copy
Creating and briefing supporting creative assets
Managing content production workflows
Supporting email marketing campaigns
Assisting with social media content and scheduling

Whilst social media support forms part of the role, this is primarily a performance marketing and content production position focused on generating leads and supporting paid advertising campaigns.

Key ResponsibilitiesAd Creative & Performance Marketing Copy

Write clear, engaging and conversion-focused copy for paid advertising campaigns
Develop ad creative messaging based on internal strategy briefs
Write and refine copy variations for creative testing
Support ongoing performance marketing campaigns across multiple client accounts
Occasionally assist with ad copywriting across various platforms

Landing Page Copywriting

Write professional, conversion-focused landing page copy
Structure content clearly to improve user experience and conversion performance
Adapt messaging for different audiences, products and client brands
Work closely with designers to ensure messaging and design align effectively

Creative Briefing & Asset Coordination

Create detailed briefs for:
Ad creatives
Landing pages
Social media assets
Marketing collateral
Liaise directly with designers throughout production
Review creative output and provide feedback and amends where required
Manage projects from initial brief through to final delivery
Ensure content and creative assets are delivered on time and to a high standard

Social Media Support

Write professional social media copy where required
Assist with social media scheduling and content management
Support content planning across client accounts

Email Marketing & Supporting Content

Assist with email marketing copywriting and campaign support
Support nurture sequences and campaign communications
Occasionally assist with copywriting for shoot plans and campaign concepts

Compliance & Internal Processes

Follow internal compliance approval processes for regulated financial marketing
Liaise with compliance partners to obtain approvals where required
Review compliance feedback and implement amendments accurately
Ensure all content follows internal processes and brand standards

Team Collaboration & Ownership

Work closely with the internal team via Slack and monday.com
Collaborate effectively within a fully remote working environment
Provide regular updates on project progress, priorities and blockers
Take ownership of assigned projects from brief through to delivery
Escalate issues, delays or questions proactively when required
Over time, become increasingly self-sufficient in managing workloads, priorities and project timelines

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong copywriting skills
Experience writing conversion-focused marketing content
Ability to write in a professional and corporate tone of voice
Strong organisational and project management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects
Excellent attention to detail
Strong written communication skills
Ability to follow structured processes and workflows
Confident using AI tools (such as ChatGPT) to support research, content creation, ideation, workflow efficiency and productivity
Comfortable reporting progress, managing tasks and communicating proactively within a remote team environment

Preferred Skills & Experience

Experience working with investment, finance or regulated brands
Understanding of paid social advertising and performance marketing
Experience with email marketing
Experience briefing and managing creative/design work
Experience scheduling and managing social media content
Agency-side experience

Software & Tools

Experience with the following platforms is preferred:

Slack
Figma
Google Sheets
ChatGPT and other AI-assisted productivity tools

Additional Notes

All work will be clearly briefed internally, particularly during onboarding
We do not expect candidates to immediately understand every client, industry nuance or tone of voice — support and guidance will be provided
We are looking for someone who can learn quickly, become increasingly self-sufficient and confidently manage projects with minimal oversight over time
The role is fully remote
Initial workload will be approximately 8 hours per week (Monday–Thursday), with potential to increase over time depending on business needs and fit
The successful candidate will work in a white-label capacity as an extension of the agency team
We are looking to build a long-term working relationship with the right person

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
