Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Billing Engineer to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the organisation’s financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in accounting software and data entry to develop their career within a dynamic environment.

Duties

Prepare and process invoices using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
Perform data entry tasks related to billing, payments, and financial records with high accuracy
Reconcile billing statements and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Support telemarketing activities related to billing inquiries or collections
Analyse financial data to identify trends or issues affecting billing processes
Maintain organised records of all billing transactions and correspondence
Provide excellent phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding billing matters
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and PeopleSoft
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of financial services and billing procedures
Experience in accounts payable and receivable management
Excellent analysis skills to interpret financial data effectively
Good phone etiquette and communication skills for client interactions
Previous experience in telemarketing or customer service is advantageous
Organised, proactive, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per month
