Flex Health is the region’s leading provider of physiotherapy and rehabilitation services, specialising in musculoskeletal, sports, neurological and paediatric care. Founded in 2015 by clinicians from elite professional football, we have grown into a multi-site service with a reputation for delivering expert, evidence-based care across East Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire & Sheffield.

Our mission is to care, lead, create, ensuring clients of all backgrounds receive the same high standards of treatment, whether recovering from a sports injury, managing a long-term condition, or rebuilding confidence after surgery.

The Role

We are seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our growing team. You will deliver high-quality assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for a range of MSK and sporting injuries, working across our Sheffield, Hull, Brough and Beverley clinics.

A core part of this role is having a strong grasp of intensive rehabilitation taking clients from initial assessment, through structured programmes in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym, and progressing them right back to on-field/pitch-based rehab.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in the private sector and is passionate about working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver the very best outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert MSK and sports physiotherapy assessments and treatments.
Take clients through the full rehab pathway: initial assessment, structured gym-based rehab, pitch/on-field reconditioning.
Design and implement tailored rehabilitation programmes for private, insured and corporate clients.
Work with post-operative, complex musculoskeletal, and sporting populations.
Collaborate closely with colleagues across our MSK, neurological, paediatric and occupational health teams.
Actively contribute to Flex Health’s culture of clinical excellence, governance and continuous improvement.
Support relationship building with clients, referrers, insurers, and local sports clubs.
Take initiative in managing your caseload, developing referral pathways, and driving client engagement.

Essential Criteria

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and HCPC registration.
Experience in the private healthcare sector or sport rehabilitation environments.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider clinical team.
Strong skills in exercise prescription, manual therapy and rehabilitation planning.
Confidence in progressing rehab from clinic to gym to pitch environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Evidence of commitment to CPD and evidence-based practice.

Desirable Criteria

Experience working in professional or semi-professional sport.
Familiarity with specialist rehabilitation equipment (e.g., AlterG treadmill, shockwave).
Knowledge of local sporting, healthcare or referral networks in Yorkshire.
Experience mentoring junior staff or students.
