This is an exceptional opportunity for a Principal Consultant to join our cutting-edge Oracle CX Cloud Practice and accelerate their career.
You will be working within an established team of Cloud consultants, specialising in Oracle Service Cloud (formerly RightNow), as well as having exposure to market-leading integration with platforms like Oracle Sales Cloud. You’ll be responsible for understanding the customer’s critical business processes, defining how they can be better supported through the use of modern software applications, and subsequently customising the application before rolling it out to the customer’s users. You will also be playing a role in leading and guiding Junior Consultants.
Your delivery of Service Cloud will have a real and visible positive impact on the way your customer operates on a day to day basis.
As part of our continuing growth, we are looking for a Senior or Principal Oracle Service Cloud Consultant to join our CX Cloud practice. The ideal candidate is someone who is truly passionate about delivering project success, who wants to be at the forefront of delivering innovative, intelligent solutions to our customers, and who wants to work alongside the very best consultants in the CX Cloud industry.
The role is customer-facing, working on the delivery of Oracle Service Cloud projects, so ideally the successful candidate will have strong experience of the successful delivery of Oracle Service Cloud in functional/technical roles. However, for those candidates with good experience in other similar technologies and who show strong potential, we will also consider cross-training into Oracle Service Cloud (we are justifiably proud of the breadth and depth of our internal Service Cloud training).
- To provide experienced, high quality technical consulting services to end-clients (in one or
more technologies), including:-
Taking architectural decisions and producing designs

Taking third party software decision
-
Technically leading/guiding technical delivery teams, acting as the expert
-
Managing technical teams
-
Configuring Oracle applications to support any requirements needed (core, non-core, integration, specialised modules)
-
Enforcing quality within the delivery team
-
Defining development, configuration management and deployment processes at clients
-
Being responsible for overall management of risks and issues, and defining and mitigating key project risks
-
Providing accurate estimates for work being carried out by the delivery team
-
Managing hours so that delivery timelines for the client are achieved and in accordance with the quality standards of Boxfusion Consulting
-
Communicating technical solutions to both client and Boxfusion Consulting staff in a clear and concise manner both verbally and in written form
-
Interfacing with key client staff, including Business Analysts, Architects and Managers on a day-to-day basis
-
Managing clients and their expectations of the delivery team
-
Working in Boxfusion’s HQ or at client sites across the UK and Europe (and possibly
beyond)

Helping to drive technical innovation within the company. This includes but is not limited to:

Researching configuration approaches for applications in which we specialise and
documenting short training documents as well as best-practice techniques -
Researching and testing functionality provided by new application software patches and
documenting for the purposes of internal knowledge and sales -
Researching and testing functionality provided by future application upgrades, and documenting for the purposes of internal knowledge and sales

Production of internal “tools” to support consulting activities or new sales propositions

Technical research of new technologies in which we may subsequently specialise

Production of training courses on new technologies

Keeping abreast of announcements from, and engaging with, Oracle and
communicating any that may affect the company or provide it with further opportunities

Act as a technology evangelist through:

Writing on the company blog

Providing regular technical communications to personnel within the organisation about
technologies in which we specialise

Supporting Sales through:

Identification of further sales opportunities at existing clients

Delivery of pre-sales activities to support the sales process
-
Ensuring administration processes are followed by delivery teams;

Delivering training to less-experienced consultants
- Creating and maintaining project plans
-
Supporting the recruitment processes
-
Training new Boxfusion Consulting personnel, or end-customer personnel
-
Making presentations to customers, either as part of a project or during Boxfusion Consulting’s sales activities

Supporting day-to-day operational activities of Boxfusion Consulting
-
Investigation of technology areas to support the creation of new marketing offerings
-
Creation and maintenance of Best Practice Technical Notes, as well as internal training courses, covering modules of the Packaged Software
-
Creation of blog entries for the company blog
-
Engaging with Oracle as part of understanding more about the products in which we specialise and their roadmaps
-
Training on, and implementation of, non-core technologies at clients or Boxfusion Consulting
-
Any other duties requested by management commensurate with the grading of the post.
