Role: Porter

Location: Seaham Hall, County Durham

Salary: £12.71 per hour (depending on experience & to be discussed at interview)

Hours: up to 24hours, (Part-Time), including weekends & bank holidays.

Relationships: General Manager, Operations Manager, Reception team

Seaham Hall is the home to five red star personable luxury situated on the Durham Heritage coastline. Steeped in history and heritage we offer a home away from home experience for all to adore. Seaham Hall boasts twenty-one individually styled suites set in thirty-seven acres of beautifully landscaped gardens and is home to the five-luxury bubble Serenity Spa. The Serenity Spa offers the very best in immersive facilities and wellness treatments designed to balance and restore the senses. With two onside dining locations, guests can choose from The Dining Room with dishes inspired by the rugged North Sea and Durham countryside or Geko our Japanese inspired restaurant nestled in the vibrant Serenity Spa.

People are our passion and our mission is to create the ultimate in Northern hospitality through our sense of rebellious spirit. Human connection, personal experience, brand evolution and location pitch us at the top level of emotive hospitality.

We are seeking to appoint a Porter to join our vibrant team in providing quality customer care for our guests when they arrive at the Hotel.

The ideal candidate

Being a 'multi-skilled' individual who has previous hospitality experience - minimum x1 year
Due to car insurance purposes, the successful candidate must be over the age of 25
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail to ensure the 5-star standard of service is delivered
Computer literate and a good knowledge and understanding of Microsoft systems
Ability to effectively interact with management, staff and guests in a professional manner
Be a team player as well as an individual worker
To be well presented and represent a high standard of competence at all times
Must have transport
